Anvil Industrial Group is looking to hire a Welder/Fabricator with experience with industrial and construction equipment. Must be able to weld, fabricate, read blueprints, have a mechanical aptitude, and have a good work ethic. Will be required to move, assemble, install, and dismantle machinery in the shop. Process material, fabricate, and weld in our fabrication facility.

Responsibilities will include:

• Read and interpret fabrication blueprints.
• Read and interpreted installation blueprints, schematics, and detailed repair drawings related to construction equipment and machinery
• Dismantle equipment when required for repair or transportation and reassemble it at the appropriate time
• Move equipment to the appropriate site for repair or maintenance to avoid contamination or workplace safety hazards
• Create solid foundations for machines on-site and instruct other construction workers about safe and efficient interaction with machinery and equipment
• Align and calibrate machinery and equipment parts as required for efficient and safe operations

Qualifications:

• Extensive cutting, welding, and fabrication skills
• Knowledge of industrial machinery and processes
• Excellent natural problem-solving and analytical skills with mechanical aptitude
• Able to read and understand schematics and blueprints
• Excellent attendance and the ability to work overtime.
• Valid Driver’s License is highly preferred
• Must pass Weld Test
