Responsibilities will include:
- Read and interpret fabrication blueprints.
- Read and interpret installation blueprints, schematics, and detailed repair drawings related to construction equipment and machinery
- Dismantle equipment when required for repair or transportation and reassemble it at the appropriate time
- Move equipment to the appropriate site for repair or maintenance to avoid contamination or workplace safety hazards
- Create solid foundations for machines on-site and instruct other construction workers about safe and efficient interaction with machinery and equipment
- Align and calibrate machinery and equipment parts as required for efficient and safe operations
Qualifications:
- Extensive cutting, welding, and fabrication skills
- Operating of cranes and/or rigging experience
- Knowledge of industrial machinery and processes
- Excellent natural problem-solving and analytical skills with mechanical aptitude
- Able to read and understand schematics and blueprints
- Must be willing to travel
- Excellent attendance with the ability to work overtime.
- A valid Driver’s License is highly preferred
