Welder/Fabricator
Description

Anvil Industrial Group is looking to hire experienced Welder/Fabricator with experience with industrial and construction equipment. Must be able to weld, fabricate, read blueprints, have a mechanical aptitude, and have a good work ethic. Will be required to move, assemble, install and dismantle machinery at any industrial location. Process material, fabricate, and weld in our fabrication facility.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

○ Read and interpret fabrication blueprints.
○ Read and interpret installation blueprints, schematics and detailed repair drawings related to construction equipment and machinery
○ Dismantle equipment when required for repair or transportation and reassemble it at the appropriate time
○ Move equipment to appropriate site for repair or maintenance to avoid contamination or workplace safety hazards
○ Create solid foundations for machines on-site and instruct other construction workers about safe and efficient interaction with machinery and equipment
○ Align and calibrate machinery and equipment parts as required for efficient and safe operations

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

○ Extensive cutting, welding, and fabrication skills
○ Operating of cranes and/or rigging experience
○ Knowledge of industrial machinery and processes
○ Excellent natural problem solving and analytical skills with mechanical aptitude
○ Able to read and understand schematics and blueprints
○ Must be willing to travel
○ Excellent attendance with ability to work overtime.
○ Valid Driver’s License is highly preferred
